Steps for Interviews and Hiring

Continuing the Interview Process

PLEASE NOTE: This step is ONLY for those who have passed the first stage of the interview process. DO NOT complete this step unless you have been directed to do so by Mo’ Motion staff. If you complete this step without Mo’ Motion authorization, you will be responsible for the fees associated with the background check and compliance training.

After Passing the Application and Interview Process

COACHES — Hiring Process

Once Mo’ Motion staff has reviewed your resume and application, and you have moved through the interview process, it is time to complete the next steps in the hiring process. Do NOT complete these steps unless you have been directed to do so by Mo’ Motion staff.

PART I–EMAIL US:

#1) RESUME, REFERENCES, PHOTO. Be sure to send your most recent resume or LinkedIN Profile link if it is up to date.  Also send two personal references and two work references who have seen you work around children and can attest to your reliability and punctuality.  Submit a headshot for us to include with your bio. Email your picture to our office. [email protected]  It doesn’t have to be a professional photo.

#2) Direct Deposit Information: 

  • If you have not done so already, please complete the two following forms and email them to [email protected]Paychex Direct Deposit Form  IRS W-9 Form. (**Please mark 100 percent as far as pay going into your bank account.  This form is going to ask for your name on your bank account, full mailing address, social security number, date of birth; bank name, bank account type – checking or savings, and routing number as well as account number.)

#3) Social Media Handles – Due to the fact that you are working with children, we ask that you provide us with links to your social media handles – FB, Twitter and/or LinkedIn and Instagram.

#4) Proof of First Aid Certification – If you do not have proof, we will send you a link to pay for your course (we get billed for it).  It takes about 20-30 minutes max.  Email Mo for info.

#5) Emergency Contact – Please make sure you email us with your emergency contact info.

PART II – SUBMIT:

A) Background Check. Our company policy is that every volunteer and paid contractor in regular contact with the players must complete a background check. Background checks can be done every 1-3 years at Mo’ Motion’s discretion.  

    • Go to this link to complete your Background Check at no cost to you.  You should Register and then when you log in there is a red box for Background Checks.  You click on that and go through all the questions.  The results will be emailed to the office.

B) Independent Contractor Agreement.  All coaches must sign an independent contractor agreement (an easy google form here) that states you are a contractor who picks his or her hours/season and that you are going to pay your taxes.  It also asks for permission to use your image in the event you are in any photos we include on social media.

GYM MANAGERS

Once Mo’ Motion staff has reviewed your resume and application, and you have moved through the interview process, it is time to complete the next steps in the hiring process. Do NOT complete these steps unless you have been directed to do so by Mo’ Motion staff.

    • Note that this Independent Contractor Agreement shows that you 1) agree to pay your own taxes, 2) that we have permission to use your images (photos, short videos, etc.), 3) that you have your own insurance (paid contractors only), and 4) that you must review our coaching handbook in full and agree to all of our rules.
